No city is as versatile as Helmond. The advantage of having so many nationalities is that we also have so many different cuisines. Time for a culinary trip through Helmond (and yes, there are a lot of tips!)

Poland
Ever tried Polish dumplings? No? Oh, then it's definitely time to give them a try. At Mazurska, you can choose from various savory, but also sweet variations. Of course, there are many more traditional Polish dishes on the menu, such as goulash, Silesian dumplings, and minced meat cutlets. You can eat in the restaurant, have it delivered, or pick it up yourself.

Greece
Gyros, souvlaki, and moussaka? Yes, they’re certainly on the menu at De Griek! It’s a Greek restaurant, after all. But here, everything is homemade in an authentic way, just a little different than you might be used to. Big tip: a gyros sandwich, served the traditional way, with fries and tzatziki inside.

Japan
When you think of Japan, you think of sushi. No need to elaborate on that. The sushi at Roka is truly next level. So fresh that your knife glides right through it. Craving something warm instead? No problem, those options are on the menu too. Or you can mix it up, of course. It's up to you. Just make sure to reserve in time.

Indonesia
It’s always packed at Loro Blonyo. And that’s no surprise, because the food here is absolutely delicious with a capital D. Authentic Indonesian dishes, made according to traditional recipes. You wouldn’t even need to try making it at home. Just head to the Markt or order it for delivery.

Italy
Yes, another restaurant with authentic dishes on the menu. This time, we're heading to Italy. Different platters of delights to share as starters. But the pizzas at Belcapo are so good you’ll want to keep them all to yourself. Save some room for dessert, though, because they’re fantastic!

Portugal
The Portuguese Antonia Botas has brought the delicious dishes from her homeland to Helmond to surprise and spoil her customers. For an optimal experience, go for a bean dish, sardines, or Bacalhau. The fact that many Portuguese people dine here says it all. Close your eyes, and for a moment, you're on vacation at Portugal Mar.

Balkan
A paradise for fans of Croatian cuisine. Or rather, the Balkan cuisine, because there are also Serbian and Hungarian dishes on the menu at Mostar Grill. The specialties flambéed at your table are quite spectacular. Meat lovers, in particular, will have a great time here. It’s smart to make a reservation!

Thailand
Sometimes nothing beats a good plate of green curry or pad thai. Well, then you’re in the right place here. If you want to try as much as possible, it's best to share with your tablemates. That’s easy, since the portions are generous at Thai Phadee. Another plus: the menu clearly indicates how spicy the dishes are.

Spain
Come hungry, because at Más Braseria you can eat as many tapas as you can handle. Vegetarian, meat, fish, and even nachos—there’s something for everyone. If you just want to have a drink with a snack, you can take a stroll to the pintxos buffet.
