The theater can be seen from a prominent building in the center of Helmond. A beautiful old church has been converted into the city's new theatre. With a broad program and an intimate atmosphere, we offer you the ultimate theater experience.  

The glass-covered domed church Since its premiere in 2013, this special place has been accepted by visitors and artists as their new theater. The architects Van Dongen and Koschuch have translated this into architecture: a glass embrace of the church ensures that it becomes a permanent theater. The transparency of the design symbolizes a contemporary theater. It shows where we all stand, provides insights into the future and creates dialogue.   

Enthusiasm everywhere Although we are very proud to be able to perform theater in such an iconic building, it is not just about this beautiful stone setting. Our team makes The Playhouse! With a small group of people, we welcome more than 160 artists and companies every year, we regularly organize events with and for business clients and we enable ten local initiatives that keep the city alive and our region moving. This is how we shape our future every day. We believe that all progress depends on creativity.
