48 hours in Helmond
Helmond is a city that truly needs to be experienced, and one day is simply not enough. So, consider staying an extra night to fully enjoy everything our multifaceted city has to offer.
Helmond is a vibrant city where you can shop, dine, soak up culture, and dance to your heart's content. But there are also beautiful natural areas to discover. You could say we offer the best of both worlds here. Parks with rich histories, forests where you can wander endlessly, and areas where you might even come face-to-face with deer. Helmond gives you space, and it's all equally beautiful. And since you have the time, you can also visit the areas around the city. The region invites you to enjoy beautiful cycling, walking, or driving trips. There’s also plenty to do in the region for children.
12.30 Lunch

At the Koffieboetiek, you can go for a healthy option like banana pancakes, and at Deftige Aap, you can watch beer being brewed while you eat. Prefer to be outside the city center and surrounded by greenery? Then De Brandevoortse Hoeve and Warande Parkrestaurant are great options.
14.00 Stroll around the city center
Have you noticed the beautiful old buildings in the city center? If you look up while walking (but be careful!), you'll see centuries-old facades, each with its own unique story. When you think of Helmond, you think of culture. Yes, right? There are so many museums in Helmond that you can easily take a day to visit a few. And yes, there is something for everyone. From age-old stories to modern art. But also very special locations that you won't see anywhere else, such as the EDAH Museum, the Barrel Organ Museum and the HomeComputerMuseum. If you buy a ticket for Museum Helmond, you can visit both the castle and the Kunsthal. And if you've had your fill of culture and are heading home, you can do so via these hidden gems on the outskirts of Helmond.
De Cacaofabriek
If you want culture, you should definitely visit this cultural hotspot. There are ongoing exhibitions, and in the cinema, the most beautiful arthouse films are shown. Keep an eye on the schedule, as there are cool concerts and performances every week. Before or after these cultural experiences, you can enjoy a drink and/or a bite in the accompanying brasserie.
