Lambertushof

A unique square in the heart of Helmond, just behind the Saint Lambert Church, laid out in 2001. Nowadays, there are 4 recurring events that take place at this unique square.
Originally named To Hölscherhof, the decision was made to rename the square to the intended working name of Lambert Court.
The square is home to a number of atelier houses and the “Mater Dei” building, still well-known by many Helmonders as a former monastery and later as a domestic science school. These buildings, together with the church, create a closed, yet intimate character. The presence of poetry pillars, ateliers and small-scale privately-owned stores add to the beguinage-like atmosphere of the square.
