Playing outside is healthy! So put on your play-friendly clothes and head to the playground. There’s always one nearby, and kids love it. Swing as high as possible and slide down over and over until their cheeks are flushed.

Playground Leonardus

A playground just as a playground should be. With equipment for both little ones and older kids. Slide down the towering slide, enjoy some classic seesaw fun, and splash around in the water play area. For adults, there’s a fitness garden where you can be active together with the (grand)children. The entrance fees are also pleasantly low.

Rijpelroets

In the heart of the green area of the Rijpel district, you'll find Playground Rijpelroets. It's a charming, small-scale spot where you can comfortably set up at one of the picnic tables while the kids play. There's always a caretaker on site to keep an eye on things. Regularly, there are fun activities, such as a summer disco, pirate day, or sidewalk chalk festival.

Playground Helmond-West

In addition to swinging, sliding, and climbing, children can also play with natural materials here. There’s a large sandpit with a water play area where they can build dams and sluices, and in the willow grove, they can construct huts from pruning branches. How cool is that?

Storytelling Playground

In the Storytelling Playground, fun, language, and stories take center stage. Kids can slide, climb, explore, and engage with language and stories in a playful way. It's an interactive play and discovery area for all ages. Fun fact: it's the only storytelling playground in the Netherlands!

Kids’ Play Palace KidsPlaza

Children up to 12 years old can go wild in this indoor playground. What can they do there? They can jump on trampolines, climb, and take a ride on the Safari Ride, among other things. The playground is open seven days a week, so planning a visit is easy. Adults and supervisors get free admission and can watch their kids' antics from the restaurant.

Speelschuur Billy Barn

Children can have a blast in the play barn, Billy Barn, where they can run, climb, and explore to their heart's content. The play area is packed with fun activities and equipment, making it a perfect spot for kids to burn off energy. Meanwhile, parents and guardians can relax in the on-site restaurant, enjoying a meal or a drink while keeping an eye on their little ones.
