About the Exhibition
The World Press Photo Exhibition has been a leading event for many years. The exhibition showcases gripping, beautiful, and often moving images of the most striking and newsworthy moments of the past year. This edition focuses on the year 2024, highlighting themes such as courage, resilience, and social challenges.

From over 61,000 entries from 130 countries, the jury selected 24 regional winners. This year’s top prize was awarded to photographs documenting personal loss in Gaza, family bonds and dementia in Madagascar, the harsh reality of migrants in Mexico, and the aftermath of the war in Ukraine.
