Helmond in 21 Monuments

(2.9 km)

This beautiful route has been curated by the Helmond Monument Working Group and Heemkundekring Helmont, offering a unique way to explore the history of Helmond.

Helmond: a city of proud Helmonders, the Hellemonds dialect, and a 'just be normal' attitude. A city where a textile factory and a medieval castle are neighbors. A city of wealthy manufacturers and poor workers, of the first cube houses and 'the Knal.' A city where beauty and imperfection coexist, creating what it is: a wonderful place to be.

This route introduces you to 21 monuments, each building with its own special story. Together, they represent both the present and the past, telling the story of Helmond.
